How to Use Our Spa Products

Our products – sugar scrubs, body butters, and foot soaks – are designed to work together or on their own to give you the ultimate relaxation and skin nourishment. Whether you're indulging in a full-body spa day or just a quick 15-minute escape, here are some tips and tricks to get the most out of each product. 

Body Butter

What it does

Body butters are a rich, creamy moisturizer that deeply hydrates and nourishes your skin. Ideal for dry skin, body butters lock in moisture and leave your skin feeling soft and supple.

Post Shower Hydration

  1. Step 1: After showering, while your skin is still slightly damp, scoop a generous amount of body butter and massage it into your skin.
  2. Step 2: Focus on areas that need extra moisture, like elbows, knees, and hands. The warmth of your skin will help the body butter melt in, providing deep hydration.
  3. Our body butter won't leave a greasy feel. Rub in completely for lasting moisturized skin.

ForTargeting Dry Areas

  1. Apply body butter to particularly dry or rough patches. Let it absorb before getting dressed to avoid residue.

When does body butter work best?

Body butter works best when your skin is slightly damp after a shower or bath. For extra relaxation, massage the butter in while focusing on your pressure points.

Sugar Scrubs

What it does

Sugar scrubs exfoliate and hydrate the skin, leaving it smooth, soft, and glowing. The natural sugar crystals slough off dead skin cells, while oils and butters provide moisture.

For a soft smooth glow

  1. Step 1: Start with damp skin in the shower or bath. Apply a generous amount of sugar scrub to your body.
  2. Step 2: Gently massage the scrub into your skin using circular motions. Focus on areas that are rough, like elbows, knees, and feet.
  3. Step 3: Rinse off with warm water and pat skin dry. Your skin will feel rejuvenated and silky smooth. Apply body butter to prevent dry skin.

For soft feet

  1. Apply the scrub to your feet
  2. Focus on the heels and arches, which tend to be drier and rougher. 
  3. Use a pumice stone afterward for added smoothness.
  4. Apply a butter to retain moisture and prevent dryness.

How often should I use a sugar scrub?

Use a sugar scrub 2-3 times a week for the best results. Avoid using it on broken or irritated skin.

Body/Foot Soaks

What it does

Foot soaks soothe tired, achy feet while softening calluses and skin. The blend of natural ingredients like sea salts and essential oils help promote relaxation and rejuvenation.

For a Relaxing Bath

  1. Step 1: Fill a basin with warm water. Add 1-2 tablespoons of foot soak and stir until dissolved.
  2. Step 2: Soak your feet or body for 15-20 minutes. Relax and let the soothing ingredients work to soften your skin and ease tension.
  3. Step 3: After soaking, use a pumice stone or foot scrub to remove any softened calluses.
  4. Step 4: Follow up with body butter or foot cream to lock in moisture and keep your feet soft.

  1. Step 1: Begin with a Foot Soak: Start by soaking your feet in warm, soothing water to relax and soften your skin.
  2. Step 2: Exfoliate with Sugar Scrub: While your feet are soaking, use the sugar scrub on your arms and legs. The exfoliation will remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin soft and smooth.
  3. Step 3: Hydrate with Body Butter: After exfoliating, lock in moisture with body butter. Apply generously to your arms, legs, and feet for a deeply hydrating experience.


Pro Tip:
Set aside at least 30 minutes for this full-body self-care experience. Play calming music and light a candle to fully unwind.

Safety Tips & Tricks

  1. Patch Test:
    Always perform a patch test before using any new product, especially if you have sensitive skin. Apply a small amount of the product to the inside of your wrist and wait 24 hours to check for any adverse reactions.
     
  2. Avoid Broken Skin:
    Do not use sugar scrubs or foot soaks on broken, irritated, or sunburned skin to avoid further irritation. Body butter is safe for sensitive areas but should be avoided on open wounds.
     
  3. Avoid Eyes:
    Keep all products away from your eyes. If any product comes into contact with your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
     
  4. Temperature:
    For foot soaks, ensure the water temperature is not too hot. Hot water can cause skin irritation and discomfort. Always test the water with your hand before soaking your feet.
     
  5. Moisturize Regularly:
    To maintain the benefits of exfoliation, follow up with body butter after every shower or bath. Keeping your skin moisturized helps prevent dryness and maintains its softness.
